Film makers are crazy

So Heart of Darkness, the making of Apocalypse Now. I never realized before watching this some directors are way to obsessed with what they do. I mean, traveling so far away for just under a year. Enduring all this crazy stuff. Personally if I had even one suicidal thought while making a movie, I'd probably either leave then, or never make another hollywood flick afterwards. I almost felt bad for the director, but he scared me. I'm surprised his wife stood by him through all of that. Oh and by the way, when I heard Brando showed up completely oblivious to what he was doing I wanted to smack him, It almost made me feel bad for enjoying the Godfather, because what he did made me lose all respect for him.
